Welcome to the Grimsby & Cleethorpes u3a website.
The u3a is a national and international organisation for the retired or semi-retired. It provides creative, leisure and educational activities in a friendly environment. These are shared in a variety of ways through meetings, talks, social & group activities.
We are a friendly, relaxed group of like-minded people and activities are based mostly in small groups which meet regularly, usually during the daytime, often in members' homes or hired venues. The activities are whatever the membership wants them to be and you'll find the current list on our Groups Page.
And, if you don't see the activity your are looking for, we'll happily help you start your own group, so don't be backward in coming forward!
We believe that it's not being old that stops you doing things;
it's stopping doing things that makes you old!

u3a Online Festival Fringe
Events from 25 June - 10 July Take part in the fun of u3a Festival 26 from home with u3a Festival Fringe. This series of online events will take place in the lead up to, and following on from, the Festival in York on 1-3 July. The programme includes a mixture of talks and interactive activities, giving all u3a members a chance to be part of our celebration of learning and fun.
